Drishyaalok is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and legal platform for all users. This Content Policy outlines what types of content are allowed and prohibited on our platform.

IMPORTANT: Users who upload content are solely responsible for ensuring their content complies with this policy and all applicable laws. Violations may result in content removal and account termination.

1. PROHIBITED CONTENT

1.2 Sexual Content

PROHIBITED:

• Pornography: Explicit sexual content, nudity, or sexual acts
• Non-Consensual Content: Intimate images shared without consent
• Sexual Services: Content offering or soliciting sexual services
• Sexualization of Minors: Any content that sexualizes children or teens

Note: Artistic, educational, or documentary content with mature themes may be permitted if properly age-restricted (18+) and not explicit.

1.3 Violence and Harm

PROHIBITED:

• Graphic Violence: Content showing real-life graphic violence, gore, or death
• Self-Harm: Content promoting suicide, self-injury, or eating disorders
• Animal Cruelty: Content depicting animal abuse or torture
• Dangerous Challenges: Content encouraging dangerous activities or pranks

Note: Fictional violence in movies/series may be permitted if age-restricted appropriately.

1.4 Hate Speech and Harassment

PROHIBITED:

• Hate Speech: Content promoting hatred against groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or caste
• Harassment: Content targeting individuals for abuse, bullying, or doxxing
• Discrimination: Content promoting discriminatory ideologies
• Threats: Content containing credible threats of violence

1.5 Misinformation and Fraud

PROHIBITED:

• Medical Misinformation: False health claims that could cause harm
• Election Misinformation: False information about voting processes
• Scams and Fraud: Content promoting financial scams or fraud
• Impersonation: Content impersonating individuals or organizations

1.6 Copyright Infringement

STRICTLY PROHIBITED:

• Pirated Content: Movies, TV shows, music, or other copyrighted works uploaded without authorization
• Screen Recordings: Recordings of streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, etc.)
• Unauthorized Compilations: Compilations using copyrighted clips without permission
• Trademark Violations: Misleading use of brand names or logos

2. ALLOWED CONTENT

2.1 Original Content

• Short Films: Original short films in any genre
• Web Series: Original episodic content
• Documentaries: Educational and informative documentaries
• Music Videos: Original music videos (with proper music rights)
• Educational Content: Tutorials, lectures, how-to videos
• Vlogs and Entertainment: Personal vlogs, comedy sketches, entertainment

2.2 Licensed Content

• Content for which you have obtained proper distribution licenses
• Content licensed under Creative Commons (with proper attribution)
• Public domain content

3. AGE RATING REQUIREMENTS

All content must be assigned an appropriate age rating:

4. CONTENT QUALITY STANDARDS

4.1 Technical Requirements

• Minimum resolution: 720p (1080p recommended)
• Clear audio quality
• Thumbnail must be relevant to content
• Accurate title and description

4.2 Metadata Requirements

• Honest and accurate titles (no clickbait)
• Proper categorization
• Correct age rating
• Appropriate tags

5. SPAM AND MANIPULATION

PROHIBITED:

• Spam: Repetitive or misleading content
• Fake Engagement: Using bots or fake accounts to inflate metrics
• Misleading Thumbnails: Thumbnails that misrepresent content
• Keyword Stuffing: Excessive tags or keywords

6. ENFORCEMENT AND PENALTIES

6.1 Content Moderation

• Automated systems scan for policy violations
• Manual review by moderation team
• User reports are investigated

6.2 Penalties for Violations

• First Offense: Content removal + warning
• Second Offense: Content removal + 7-day upload ban
• Third Offense: Account suspension (30 days)
• Severe Violations: Immediate permanent ban (CSAM, terrorism, copyright infringement)
• Legal Action: Illegal content reported to authorities

6.3 Appeal Process

• Users may appeal content removals
• Appeals are reviewed within 48-72 hours

7. REPORTING VIOLATIONS

To report content that violates this policy:

• Use the "Report" button on the content
• Select the violation type
• Provide details (optional but helpful)
• Our team will review within 24 hours

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

8.1 Copyright Compliance

• You must own all rights to content you upload
• Obtain licenses for music, images, video clips

8.2 DMCA Takedowns

• Copyright holders can submit DMCA notices

• Content will be removed upon valid notice
• Repeat infringers will be permanently banned

9. PLATFORM LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

9.1 CONTENT RESPONSIBILITY AND PLATFORM NEUTRALITY

Drishyaalok OTT operates solely as a digital distribution platform that enables independent creators, filmmakers, and production houses to host and distribute their content. The platform does not produce, control, or take full responsibility for third-party content uploaded or provided by creators, production houses, or content partners.

Responsibility for legality, accuracy, originality, licensing, and policy compliance remains with the creator, producer, or rights holder.

All uploaded content must comply with:

• Google Play Developer Program Policies
• Applicable local and international laws and regulations
• Copyright and intellectual property laws
• Community standards related to safety, legality, and appropriate content

Drishyaalok OTT reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review, restrict, request edits or modifications, suspend, or remove content, and to block or terminate access for creators or partners who violate platform rules or applicable policies. Such actions may be taken without prior notice in severe policy, legal, copyright, or community-standard violations.

By submitting or publishing content on the platform, the creator or production entity acknowledges and agrees that they bear full responsibility for their content and that the platform acts only as a neutral hosting and distribution service provider.
